Garry and Pam Wiebe
About our Senior Pastors:
Our senior co-pastors are Garry and Pam Wiebe. They shepherd the sheep together even though Pastor Pam does most of the teaching/preaching. Pastor Garry is used greatly in the gift of prophecy as he ministers individually to the members of the church family. Garry is a retired engineer with BNSF Railroad.
They have been married over 44 years and have served in many ministry positions throughout those years before accepting the position of senior pastors of the Christian Gathering in 2011. They have 3 daughters and 8 grandchildren. Ministering to hurting people has been a lifelong ministry for the Wiebe family. They consider their first ministry experience to be the 14 years they served as CPS foster parents to many abused youth in North Texas. Both Pam and Garry have extensive experience with ex-offenders and recovering addicts in the community. Pam has a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas in Counseling and received her Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Theological Seminary. For ten years, Pam was employed as a Chaplain for the incarcerated youth of the Texas Juvenile Justice System (formally TYC) and has ministered in prisons and county jails along with developing faith-based programs for offenders.
Along with Pastoring, the Wiebe’s are involved with many community services including My Brother’s House, a sobor living program for those in addiction recovery. Their non-profit organization, Beyond Ministries, Int. is to help folks beyond whatever life inhibiting issues that hold them back from reaching God-given potential and purpose. Pam has a passion for suicide prevention and post intervention. She has founded the group “Beyond Suicide Bereavement”. She also co-developed the website NotAnOption.live that helps those with suicide ideation take the option off the table once for all.
Garry, Pam and their family are down-to-earth folks who love God and service people!
